Description
Crinkleroot (Cardamine Diphylla), a member of the mustard family, is found in moist woodlands usually in edge habitats and blooms from April to June. It a native North American herb and is found in most of eastern North America. While the plant may grow up to 12 inches tall, the 4-petal flowers which bloom in a cluster, are each quite small. The background in this image was in shade, compared to the sunlit background of a previous Crinkleroot image in my portfolio.
