Description
This formation of bell-shaped ice, sometimes referred to as ice bells, was hanging from a branch at the water line along a creek. From the rise and fall of the flowing water passing around and over the branch, water droplets form and freeze from the branch. The water fluctuations affect the shape and formation of the icicles. The creek bank and tree trunks from the opposite side of the creek can be seen as refractions in the icicles. The flowing creek is diffused in the background.
