While visiting a local park after a rain shower, I spied this Tiger Lily growing along the path. Tiger lily flowers (Lilium lancifolium or Lilium tigrinum) command our attention with their bright and showy orange colored petals covered with black spots.

Nature has always played a significant role in my life. On walks with my dad when I was a child, I was taught to notice the world around me and appreciate the wonder of nature and all of God's creation.
