Artist's Description
South Perkasie Covered Bridge is a historic wooden covered bridge located in the town of Perkasie in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Built in 1832, the bridge once crossed Pleasant Spring Creek, but was moved to nearby Lenape Park in 1958. It is the oldest covered bridge in Bucks County and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Pictures on a board inside the bridge entrance record the moving of the bridge.
