While visiting the Canadian Rockiies, we went on a boat cruise on Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park. The scenery all around was spectacular! Our one stop was at Spirit Island and then we did a fast return back to the dock. This was a view taken from the stern of the cruise boat as the boat reached the fastest speed. The wake, interestingly, formed an angel shape with wings outstretched. One certainly does feel closer to the divine in such an amazing place! :)
Nature has always played a significant role in my life. On walks with my dad when I was a child, I was taught to notice the world around me and appreciate the wonder of nature and all of God's creation. To this day, being out in nature is balm for my soul and necessary for my well-being.
