Description
The wooden sea lion docks at Newport’s Bay Front have provided a haul-out for sea lions for over 18 years. We were attracted to this area by the raucous barking we heard from the main boulevard in Newport, Oregon and followed the sound to the docks. The Newport Sea Lion Docks are owned and maintained by a local non-profit group and provide a unique opportunity for the public to observe these amusing and interesting animals close up.
