Description
Snowberry is a common understory bush in various forests of Glacier National Park in Montana. It is considered an important browse for many types of wildlife and also as cover for bird and small mammal populations. Common Snowberry (Symphoricarpos albus) is native to North America, where it occurs across much of Canada and the northern United States where it grows in shady and moist mountain and forest habitat, in woodlands and on floodplains and riverbanks.
