Artist's Description

Pine Creek Gorge, sometimes called The Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, is a 47-mile gorge carved by Pine Creek in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Leonard Harrison State Park and Colton Point State Park perch on opposite sides of the canyon. The Turkey Path trail in Leonard Harrison State Park is a difficult mile down and back trail that descends over 800 feet as it courses from rim to canyon floor. About half way down, the trail begins to parallel Little Four Mile Run and its series of waterfalls. This is one of the beautiful waterfalls along the trail that made the strenuous hike worthwhile!
