Description
Historic Cold Spring Village, located in Cape May County, New Jersey, is an Early-American open-air living history museum that brings to life the day-to-day activities of villagers living in South Jersey during the "age of homespun." (1789-1840) This woodworking shop is one of 26 restored historic buildings on the 30 acre site. We stopped in to visit the village before it was officially open for the season, and just after a flooding rain had hit this area. The "pond" is actually a flooded lawn area.
