The Ocean City Music Pier was built in 1928 for the Ocean City, New Jersey community after a fire had destroyed a large portion of the boardwalk in 1927. Then as now it serves as a venue for concerts by the Ocean City Pops Orchestra as well as other types of entertainment. The Miss New Jersey pageant is also held here. The Music Pier is located in the heart of the city's boardwalk and an iconic landmark in Ocean City.

Nature has always played a significant role in my life. On walks with my dad when I was a child, I was taught to notice the world around me and appreciate the wonder of nature and all of God's creation. To this day, being out in nature is balm for my soul and necessary for my well-being.
