Founded in 1962, Peddler’s Village near New Hope, Pennsylvania, attracts 1.6 million visitors every year to its colonial style village consisting of 42-acres of landscaped grounds and winding brick walkways, more than 70 independently owned and operated specialty shops, restaurants, and a charming inn. Open year-round, Peddler's Village is especially beautiful during the Christmas season when over 1 million lights illuminate the village. Nature has always played a significant role in my life. On walks with my dad when I was a child, I was taught to notice the world around me and appreciate the wonder of nature and all of God's creation. To this day, being out in nature is balm for my soul and necessary for my well-being.
