Plum leaf sandcherry bush, also referred to as purple leaf sandcherry plants, is a medium-sized ornamental shrub that when mature reaches a height of approximately 8 feet tall by 8 feet wide. This easy care plant makes a great addition to the landscape. Sandcherry bush (Prunus x cistena) is a member of the Rose family. Around April, the plant's pink buds open into whitish-pink flowers.
