Description
Bougainvilleas are popular ornamental plants in most areas with warm climates. The actual flower of the plant is small and generally white, but each cluster of three flowers is surrounded by three or six bracts with the bright colors associated with the plant, They tend to flower all year round in equatorial regions such as Costa Rica. This colorful bush was climbing up a wall surrounding a small country church in the Costa Rican countryside.
