Description
Dublin, Ireland's most modern, visually spectacular bridge is modeled after a Celtic harp, which is Ireland’s national emblem. The bridge, designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, was commissioned in 2009 and is named for Samuel Beckett, a Dublin native who won a Nobel prize in literature. In this sepia-toned image, the striking blue glass atrium of the Convention Center Dublin is visible through the cables with the blue selectively allowed to shine through the sepia tones.
